Combined-cycle power plant 338 MW
Alstom has been awarded contracts worth US$450 million to supply a power island for the expansion of Iberdrola’s Dulces Nombres combined-cycle power plant in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon, in the northeast of Mexico. It will also provide maintenance services for the new unit as well as for the existing four units. The power package is the fifth at the Monterrey III plant and will consist of a GT24 gas turbine, a steam turbine and a heat recovery steam generator, the French manufacturer said in a statement. The 338-megawatt plant will use Alstom’s upgraded gas turbine technology, suited to regions such as Pesqueria with high power demands from industrial users. Commissioning of the new unit is scheduled in 2016.
Flenco is pleased to have been selected as preferred partner by Alstom to supply its auxiliary systems for this project. For further inquiries about this collaboration, you can ask your usual contact person at our Sales Department or complete and send us our contact form.
