Combined heat and power (CHP) plant
GE Energy has received an order from TGK-16, an independent heat and electricity producer owned by Tatar-American Investment and Finance (TAIF), for an advanced power generation system. The system is based on GE's 9HA.01 Gas Turbine and will be installed at a combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Kazan. Modernizing the CHP-3 plant will create a total plant efficiency of approximately 80 percent. It also will reduce the region's power shortage, created in part by increased power consumption from Kazan's large number of petrochemical industries and refineries. GE's 9HA power generation system will replace existing gas-fired boilers and increase the CHP facility's electrical production from 420 MW to 808 MW.
Flenco is pleased to have been selected as preferred partner by GE Energy to supply its auxiliary systems for this project. For further inquiries about this collaboration, you can ask your usual contact person at our Sales Department or complete and send us our contact form.
