Offshore facility
The Ichthys LNG plant and associated facilities, including the Accommodation Village at Howard Springs, are being built by JKC Australia LNG Pty Ltd on behalf of INPEX in joint venture with major participant Total and Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Chubu Electric and Toho Gas. The Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin offshore Western Australia first demonstrated its potential to be a world-class gas project in 2000. Since then, most likely resource estimates have grown to 12.8 tcf of gas and 527 million barrels of high value condensate. GE Oil & Gas will supply four Frame 7EA Gas Turbines and eight MR/PR Compressors for the LNG plant; 10 PGT25+G4 gas turbines and 10 compressors for upstream facilities; and 22 subsea production trees, five off-subsea manifolds, an integrated subsea control system and a 42-inch trunk line connection system. GE Energy will supply five GE Frame 6B gas turbines and three SC4 single-flow steam turbines that will provide 500 megawatts of installed power capacity for the facility.
Flenco is pleased to have been selected as preferred partner by GE Oil & Gas and GE Energy to supply its auxiliary systems for this project. For further inquiries about this collaboration, you can ask your usual contact person at our Sales Department or complete and send us our contact form.
